One key dome array is the dome array with only one metal dome(snapdome), this commonly used in only one button or key switches with far away applications.

In general, there are about dozens of metal domes(snap domes) for one conductive film, you can peel off and paste it into your circuit board.We can do this one key dome array with any shapes of metal domes, but triangle metal dome and four-leg metal dome are usedvery often including stainless steel, nickel and gold-plated, are not the problem. For the large snap domes, such as 12.2mm diameter, it may will paste not very firmly. Now you do not have to worry about,

What’s the UV Plunger Metal Dome Array? UV Plunger Metal Dome Array is that the normal metal dome array with plunger on the top.

Do you know why there is UV plunger on the top of dome array? There have two functions as below:
1. increase the total height;
2. increase the click feeling.

Now the most popular used for metal dome array is the double-layers. The top layer is the Mylar, transparent with 0.05mmthickness; Bottom layer is Spacer, we have the white and transparent, two kinds materials. The thickness is 0.05mm and 0.075mm; Last we have a support layer to prevent the metal dome from the dust, dirt,etc..

Large snap domes means the diameter of snap domes is large. How large we can make?

1. Four-leg snap domes: we have 16mm, and 20mm diameter;
2. Circle snap domes: We can make 12mm,16mm and 19mm diameter;
3. Triangle snap domes: 12mm diameter;
4. Oblong snap domes: 25.4*12.7mm, 25.4*12.7mm,and 50.8*12.7mm.

Hereby I introduce poly dome shortly. Poly dome is formed by polyester film hot pressing, and with a switch function. Mainly used for remote control switches,
membrane keypad, flexible pcb, etc..

Poly dome can be printed by silver oil or carbon oil, or silver and carbon oil printing is also an option. Poly dome typically used in two ways: One is poly dome glue with rubber adhesive tape, poly dome’s top adhesive tape to use double-sided rubber adhesive tape, The other is poly dome glue with the PCB board to use, poly dome do not need the top adhesive, but use double-sided rubber adhesive tape to the bottom.
