How do I apply the snap domes to PCB, FPC or membrane switches?

Our snap domes are applied to PCB, membrane, or flex circuit by means of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. Several standard material options are available, as well as custom materials. Such as the domestic adhesive tap, 3M adhesive tap.

How to assemble metal domes to PCB?

There are two ways to assemble the metal domes to PCB. First, there are some metal domes with two legs, you just need to insert
the legs to the holes on your PCB. These metal domes are most the triangle shape, it most used in the medical equipments, car alarms
etc. But we not recommnnd to sold on PCB. Secondly, we also have our standard one key metal dome array & custom metal dome array, it’s the
kind that with adhesive film, you just need to peel off from protective paper, and then stick it on the PCB.

How can assemble dome array on PCB firmly?

Some customers have came across the problems that they can’t assemble the dome array on PCB firmly. I think maybe there are the
below issues for this matter:
First, there are some dust and stains on the PCB, so the PCB must be clear;
Second, please use the the forceps or other toolings to peel off the protective film of dome array, please don’t use the hand;
Last but not least, please press a little after you stick it on the PCB.

Upon the three setps, I think you can assemble the dome array firmly on your PCB.
